Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager with strong expertise in sales, client acquisition, lead conversion, and relationship management. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in achieving sales targets, generating new business opportunities, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle. Experience in IT services or software sales will be a strong advantage. This role requires someone proactive, commercially aware, confident in communication, and capable of driving business growth independently.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities across India.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and market research.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, product/service demonstrations, and proposal discussions.
  • Convert qualified leads into long-term business opportunities.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
  • Understand client business challenges and propose suitable technology/service solutions.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term account engagement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client communication during the sales cycle.

Market & Strategy

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Identify emerging business opportunities in software services, digital transformation, and IT solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align business goals and customer expectations.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to management.

Proposal & Negotiation

  • Prepare business proposals, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations.
  • Participate in contract discussions and deal closures.
  • Coordinate with technical and delivery teams for solution alignment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Business Development / Sales.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and client acquisition strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings when required.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and highly organized.

Preferred

  • Experience in software sales, IT services sales, SaaS sales, or technology consulting sales.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools and sales tracking systems.
  • Experience handling enterprise or mid-size clients.
  • Understanding of digital solutions, web/mobile applications, cloud services, or AI-based solutions.
