Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and creative WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining websites built on the WordPress platform. You should have a strong understanding of front-end and back-end development, including creating themes and plugins. A keen eye for design, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and manage custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Maintain, update, and enhance existing WordPress websites.
  • Convert HTML/PSD designs into fully functional WordPress themes.
  • Ensure website performance, security, and responsiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
  • Work closely with design, marketing, and content teams to deliver high-quality websites.
  • Optimize websites for SEO and performance.
  • Manage and integrate third-party tools, APIs, and plugins.
  • Maintain documentation for code, processes, and user guides as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in WordPress CMS, including theme and plugin development.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
  • Familiarity with WooCommerce and e-commerce integrations.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and AJAX.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git.
  • Understanding of website performance and SEO optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, IT, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
  • A portfolio of WordPress projects is a plus.
